It is time for our Fall Fundraiser, and who doesn't like smoked chicken
and sausage?

Saturday, August 19, is our annual BYSA BBQ Fundraiser at the
Buda City Park Pavilion located at 204 San Antonio Street.
It's the park next to the train tracks in downtown Buda.

This is the
only  fundraiser the Bandits have each year. One goal is to provide a fun,
family-oriented event where all are welcome, and to get to know one another. The
other goal is to take the proceeds from the fundraiser and purchase new equipment
for our growing youth program, replace worn equipment as our players put it all
out on the field, pay for the use of Barton M.S. practice fields, and pay for a slew of
fees required to run the program, all so that the cost of registration is kept
affordable to all families to participate in the Bandit Youth Sports program.

With that said, we need your help in three ways to make this event a success.

First...
Each child registered in football or cheer is asked to sell 10 BBQ plate tickets at $10
each (minimum 8 tickets).
*
Please Be Aware: you must turn in any tickets that you do not sell.
There should be $10 in the issued envelope for each ticket not returned to us.

If your family "opted out" of the fundraiser, please do buy plates for your family
from another Bandit family and join us at the gathering!
The BBQ plate will include chicken, sausage, pinto beans, spanish rice, pickles,
onions, and bread. The plate can be picked up on
Saturday, Aug. 19 from 11am - 2pm.

We'd like to send out a
big thank you  to San Marcos BBQ for their generous
contributions for the event!
We are truly blessed with their support of the Bandits Football and Cheer program.

Second...
We need parents and family members to sign up to volunteer for set up,
ticket-taking, drink and dessert service, and clean up. This is a big event and takes
many hands to make it a success.
Here is the
SignUpGenius link for you to claim your spot!

Third...
Football players are asked to bring a case of name-brand canned soda per player.
We request name-brand because we will charge $1 per can.
Mighty-Mite -- Sprite or Minute Maid Lemonade
PeeWee -- Diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Coke
Junior -- Dr. Pepper
Senior -- Coke
Cheerleaders are asked to bring one case of bottled water per cheerleader.

These drinks will be sold on site during the BBQ.
Any leftovers will be served at the End of Year Banquet.

Cheer teams are to provide dessert items also to sell at the BBQ - cookies,
brownies, or any dessert that can be easily individually wrapped for sale.
Please label with the name of the dessert
and if any nuts were used, in consideration of those with allergies.
Example Labels: Brownie w/walnuts, Rice Krispie Treats w/peanut butter,
Choc. Chip cookies w/pecans, etc.

We appreciate any and all assistance that you are willing to give for this fundraising
event. Sometimes schedules are tight, but even an hour of your time will be helpful.
And if you have multiple hours to spare, that's even better!

If you have any questions at all, feel free to send us an email.
